COOKIE POLICY
COOKIE POLICY OF adlerortho.com
This document is issued by ADLER ORTHO S.p.A., with registered office at Via dell’Innovazione 9, Cormano (MI) 20032, Italy, as Data Controller of the personal data arising from browsing this website: www.adlerortho.com.
This Cookie Policy (“Policy”), to be read in conjunction with the Privacy Policy, describes the types of cookies and tracking technologies used on the Website, as well as the purposes and conditions for their use.
Use of cookies and types
This document informs Users about the technologies that help this Website achieve the purposes described below. Such technologies allow the Controller to access and store information (for example, by using a Cookie) or to use resources (for example, by executing a script) on the User’s device during their interaction with this Website, in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and the Italian Data Protection Authority’s Provision No. 231 of 10 June 2021.
For simplicity, all these technologies are defined as “Tracking Tools” within this document, unless otherwise specified. For example, although Cookies may be used in both web and mobile browsers, it would not be correct to refer to Cookies in the context of mobile apps, as they are browser-based Tracking Tools. For this reason, in this document, the term “Cookie” is used only when referring specifically to that particular type of Tracking Tool.
In accordance with the Guidelines No. 231 of 10 June 2021 issued by the Italian Data Protection Authority, “Cookies” are defined as text strings that websites (so-called “publishers” or “first parties”) visited by the user, or other websites or web servers (so-called “third parties”), place and store within a terminal device available to the user (so-called “active identifiers”).
According to their intended purpose, Cookies can be divided into the following categories:
Technical cookies and other technical identifiers
| These are used solely for the purpose of transmitting a communication over an electronic communications network, or to the extent strictly necessary for the provider of an information society service explicitly requested by the user or subscriber to deliver such a service. These Cookies do not require the user’s consent.
|
First- and third-party analytics cookies | These are considered equivalent to technical cookies and other technical identifiers only if:
However, third parties are permitted to produce statistics using data relating to multiple domains, websites, or apps that belong to the same publisher or business group.
|
Non-technical tracking identifiers / Profiling cookies | These are Cookies used to associate specific actions or recurring behavioural patterns of identified or identifiable individuals (patterns) with them, for the purpose of grouping different profiles into homogeneous clusters of varying size. This allows the service to be provided in an increasingly personalised manner and enables the delivery of targeted advertising messages — that is, those aligned with the user’s preferences expressed during web browsing. Profiling cookies and some of the purposes for which Tracking Tools are used may also require the User’s consent. Whenever consent is given, it may be freely withdrawn at any time by following the instructions provided in this document.
|
The duration and expiry of Cookies and other similar Tracking Tools may vary depending on the settings determined by the Controller or the respective provider. Some of them expire at the end of the User’s browsing session.
In addition to what is specified in the descriptions within each of the following categories, Users may find more detailed and up-to-date information about the duration and other relevant aspects — such as the presence of additional Tracking Tools — in the privacy policies of the respective third-party providers or by contacting the Controller at the following email address: privacy@adlerortho.com.
